About Amy Bell

Amy Bell is the founder of AML Sorted in Australia, as well as Teal Compliance and Teal Legal in the UK. She’s also the author of ‘Solicitors and Money Laundering’, published by the England and Wales Law Society.
Amy is a solicitor and compliance consultant with a passion for helping firms adapt to the changing legal landscape. She brings almost 3 decades of experience working with law firms to her leadership of two successful ventures: Amy Bell Compliance Limited (launched in 2017) and Teal Compliance Limited (launched in January 2018).
Now, Amy has brought her expertise to Australia to assist firms in preparing for the implementation of Tranche 2 of the AML legislation.
 
Currently Chair of the England and Wales Law Society's Economic Crime Task Force, Amy represents the solicitors’ profession at Government level, and across Europe. A sought-after speaker on all aspects of legal compliance, Amy regularly shares her valuable insights with audiences at organisations like the Law Society, InfoTrack, the Institute of Legal Finance & Management, and numerous local law societies and law firm networks.
