The Queensland Law Society Modern Advocate Lecture Series aims to assist solicitors in a few ways. First, it provides an opportunity to bring practitioners together to build connections within the legal community. It is also critically significant to impart the knowledge and skills they need to improve their advocacy.
In Lecture 2 we were joined by two Judges of the Planning and Environment Court of Queensland. In collaboration with the Planning and Environment law Committee, our judicial officers speak to their experience in the jurisdiction, as well as operation of their courtrooms more broadly.
This session is more a fire-side chat than a lecture, so please enjoy this hour of incredibly important, yet deceptively casual learning.
